This is one of my very favorite gowns. Its not often that simple, solid colored silk gowns are saved but it’s certainly my preference! The gown’s simplicity is absolutely gorgeous and it's the original inspiration for my current project.

White Linen & Word Shortage
I keep running out of white linen, and it's not exactly easy to come by around here. So many caps and shifts have been happening lately! I'm so exhausted though I think that's really all I can write for now. :) Happy sewing!

Almost Autumn OR Forget Pumpkin Everything, I Need a Nap
It's truly amazing how quickly time goes by when you barely have time to breathe! July was the worst: reenactments and market set-ups every week, sewing constantly and feeling like I'm getting nowhere, etc. August, I'm realizing, has basically not existed. I feel like it just started, and yet here I am staring at September in a few days! Honestly? Good riddance, August. I need a break!
