Day 4: Fave Friday! Favorite Era
I don’t think it will come as a surprise to say the late 18th century is my favorite era. It can be really extravagant and simplistic at the same time. The huge amount of variation in style along the the gorgeous lines of gowns… I get stars in my eyes every time I see a fashion plate, portrait, or really well done gown reproduction from this period. And STAYS. Stays, man.
